In Spirit and In Truth

Hebrews 10: 24,25 "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching"

There is a frightening trend among believers today; so many have become disillusioned with 'the church' that they have increasingly turned back into the 'world', and as a result the enemy is merrily reclaiming some of our brothers and sisters when their lives instead should be devoted to our Savior.

The trouble, I think, is the remaining devotion most people still have to the 'church building'. We get up a couple few times a week and go to 'church' where we sing a few songs, share a few 'testimonies', listen to one or maybe two people explain part of a few scriptures and in some cases spend another half-hour dancing around before they pray for us, collect our contributions, tell us to return next time and send us home. It is the rare one that you find which will leave you feeling truly 'Fed', and if you are not seeking God for yourself to go along with that you end up truly unsatisfied when all is said and done.

Many people do this all their lives, and never really get to Experience God

This is because is has become harder for some to realize that the Body of Christ Jesus is by no means a mere structure that can be walked into for a few hours before returning to the seclusion of one's home or neighborhood. This is not what God is about, and it is certainly not what Jesus taught. We have become so caught up in form and fashion, right and wrong, rite and ritual, and 'other people', other factions, other churches, other 'religions' and other faiths within our own...that we have set aside both Jesus and our fellow man. Christianity as it stands today -- an 'Institution' -- with rules and means and methods, has done more to turn people off than is possible for it to account for. This is not vague speculation. One need look no further than the neighborhoods full of Sunday Morning 'TV Worshippers', to gain an idea of numbers. And you need look no further than the news and web to see that the balance is slowly shifting.

Yes, the Word of God certainly forecast that this would be the very situation as the end-times approached. And yet it does not lesson ourcommission - followers, believers, and lovers of Jesus - to get up and get out there and help as many get ready for His return as possible, not drive them further into the wilderness of the Lost!

So what is the solution?

Getting one's own eyesight straight first.

The Lord's oft-quoted direction about the splinter and the beam. First we must realize and admit that walking with Jesus is a personal mission. We must pray. We must study - research, meditate, fast, and strive for obedience. For only when we - that's you and I - are come completely under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit of God, which is granted us through grace because of Christ's loving sacrifice, can we begin to understand what it truly means to love other. Only when we have received that Spirit are we able to See in the Spirit, and so then recognize that Spirit in every other soul God has Created.

When this is our goal, we do not become frustrated or impatient with others who do not, and perhaps can not live up to 'our' expectation. We realize we are utterly unable to send any one single person to heaven or hell, and so can not set goals for others. We realize that our singular goal in fellow-shipping with and ministering to others is to help them find their own attaching point to the Father, who will take it from there. He guides our words of encouragement, to assure they are what another needs at the time. He guides our acts of givng, to assure that we are doing so out of a need to share HIM, and not a wish for personal attention or validation of ourselves.

When our acts are done in the Light - the Spirit of Jesus - there is no pride and therefore no pushing. There is not a 'want' for another to do as we 'want' and so we can want the best for them. There is patience, for the memory of where we have come from remains our reason for never wanting to see another go through those things. There is peace in oour own hearts, and so calm and gentleness in coaxing another, for we are able to keep in mind how God has shown us such great forbearance.

And above all, there is an inability to keep Jesus to oneself, for the joy and freedom of the soul simply fills you up, leaving no room for sadness or doubt or worry about what you'll wear next Sunday or who'll notice You'll be able to focus on God and receiving all that you can of His wisdom and grace and mercy and love.

James 4:10 "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."

Finding True Love

Where?

In JESUS.

WHY? BECAUSE ONLY IN HIM CAN WE FIND WHAT IT IS WE ARE TRULY LOOKING FOR WHILE WE PERSUE ALL OF THOSE OTHER THINGS; SAFETY. SECURITY. RECOGNITION OF OUR FEELINGS. HOPE. TRUST. UNDERSTANDING. HAPPINESS. JOY. A BELIEF THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT. CARING. ENCOURAGEMENT. BACK-UP. RECOGNITION. FREEDOM FROM FEAR. ASSURANCE AGAINST DEATH. SOMEONE WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY WILL TURN ON US, USE US, BETRAY US, OVERLOOK US, SEEK REVENGE ON US, TAKE ANYTHING FROM US.

IN SHORT, WE ARE SEEKING FULFILLMENT. WE ARE SEEKING WHOLENESS. WE ARE SEEKING THE ONE THING WE ALL WANT. THE ONE THING WE ALL NEED. THE ONE THING MOST OF US DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO GET.

LOVE.

A LOVE THAT ACCEPTS EVERY REFLECTION OF ITSELF AS LOOKING EXACTLY LIKE ITSELF. A LOVE WITH NO EYES TO SEE THE IMPERFECTIONS WITHIN US. A LOVE THAT KNOWS NO LIMITATIONS, AND SO PLACES NONE ON US. A LOVE THAT PROVES WE ARE EACH MOST BELOVED OF ALL, FOR WE ARE MANIFESTATIONS OF THAT LOVE IN IT'S PUREST FORM.

BUT SO MANY OF US HAVE BEEN SO HURT BY WHAT WE HAVE BEEN FOOLED INTO BELIEVEING WAS LOVE, OFTEN BY THOSE WHO NEITHER KNOW IT'S TRUE POWER. AND NOW, WE ARE SO AFRAID OF SEEKING SUCH A WONDERFUL SOUNDING FULLNESS THAT WE FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE IT TRULY EXISTS.

RATHER THAN LOVE WE HAVE SPENT OUR LIVES HEARING THAT WE AREN'T WORTH LOVING. LEARNING THAT WE AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH. BELIEVING THAT WE AREN'T GOOD-LOOKING ENOUGH. THAT WE AREN'T SMART ENOUGH.THAT WE AREN'T SKINNY ENOUGH. NOT COOL ENOUGH. NOT RICH ENOUGH. NOT FROM THE RIGHT PLACE. DON'T KNOW THE RIGHT PEOPLE. DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES. ARE TOO GREEDY. TOO WANTING. TOO NEEDY. TOO LOUD. TOO DUMB. TOO FAT. TOO UGLY. TOO QUIET. TOO THIS FOR HIM AND TOO THAT FOR HER. SOME HAVE EVEN BEGUN TO BELIEVE IT OF THEMSELVES. BUT THERE IS AN ANSWER!

JESUS.

DO YOU KNOW HIM?

HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED WHAT HE HAS TO GIVE? DO YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU RECOGNIZE HIS LOVE, BELIEVE IN HIS LOVE, STAY CLOSE TO HIM SO THAT HE CAN CONTINUE TO LOVE YOU, AND BLESS OTHERS WITH HIS LOVE, YOUR ENTIRE WORLD CHANGES? DO YOU KNOW THAT THE KIND OF LOVE JESUS HAS ISN'T WORRIED ABOUT WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE? THAT HIS LOVE ISN'T WORRIED ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE, OR IF YOU'RE SKINNY OR FAT, OR TALL OR SHORT, OR CAN PLAY AN INSTRUMENT OR WRITE A BOOK OR WIN A CONTEST OR COME IN FIRST. HIS LOVE ISN'T JUDGING YOU BY WHAT KIND OF HOUSE YOU HAVE, OR CAR YOU DRIVE OR WHO YOU KNOW OR WHERE YOU CAN AFFORD TO LIVE OR GO OR EAT.

HIS LOVE DOESN'T CARE IF YOU CAN'T READ, OR IF YOU WIN ALL THE SCIENCE FAIRS, OR WHETHER YOUR FRIENDS HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE YOU FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY. HIS LOVE ISN'T CONCERNED WITH X-BOXES, MOVIE COLLECTIONS, FANCY CLOTHES. HIS ONLY CONCERN IS YOU. JUST YOU. HE WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY. HE WANTS YOU TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND FROM WORRYING ABOUT ALL THAT. HE WANTS YOU TO BE SAFE, TO BE SECURE, TO BE ENCOURAGED, TO FEEL LIKE YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO, WALK WHEREVER YOU NEED TO WALK WITHOUT FEAR. SLEEP WITHOUT FEAR, SPEAK WITHOUT FEAR, LOVE WITHOUT FEAR.

HE IS THE ONE WHO IS TRUTH, AND SO CAN NOT LIE. IS LIFE AND SO CAN NOT DIE. HE IS PEACE AND SO CAN NEVER TROUBLE US. IS JUSTICE AND SO CAN NEVER CHEAT US. IS LIGHT AND SO CAN NEVER LEAVE US IN THE DARK.

HE HAS PROVEN HIS FAITHFULNESS TIME AND TIME AGAIN SIMPLY IN THE FACT THAT HE IS STILL HERE, NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE, NO MATTER WHO WE ARE, NO MATTER HOW FAR AWAY FROM HIM WE GO. HE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT US...KNOWS EVERY NEED, SENSES EVERY FEAR, FEELS EVERY ACHE, SHARES EVERY LAUGH, HEARS EVERY CRY.

HE WANTS YOU TO HAVE THE BEST - HIM. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GO TO HIM. SPEAK TO HIM AND TELL HIM YOU WANT HIS LOVE. HE'LL GIVE IT TO YOU, AND HE WON'T TAKE IT BACK. YOU WON'T HAVE TO WAIT ON IT EITHER, HIS LOVE IS A RIGHT NOW THING.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

"Dear Jesus, blessed be your name. I believe that You are the Son of the Heavenly Father, I believe that You Loved me so much You came here to give your precious life for my sins. I believe that You died and rose again from the grave to return to Heaven as the Right Hand of God's throne. Lord I believe in You and accept into my life your Holy Spirit.

I am willing to commit my life to You Lord, for I know you are the One true Way, and I ask that you forgive me Lord for allowing my heart to be tossed to and fro by uncertainty, I ask Your forgiveness for those ways I have offended you in my ignorance, and in my willful turning away from your loving guidance.

I am in need of your help today Lord, and I come seeking strength and guidance. Help me Lord Jesus, to remember that only through You will I be able to have peace, hope, joy, and above all faith to keep holding on as I walk through this place of tribulation. Help me to keep placing my trust in You Lord, and not in the direction of mankind.

I thank you Lord for your Loving watch over my life, and I thank the Father for His loving GRACE in giving you to me. In Your name and for Your sake I ask that this come to pass."

Our Mission here is - first and foremost - promoting the halting of the in-fighting between those of us who are supposed to be carrying Christ's message across the earth. If we are to becaome a true family in Him, we must tear down the barriers of 'doctrine' and seek a true love between us.

GREAT HOLY ONE OF GOD...LORD JESUS OUR REDEEMER...OURS TODAY IS A PRAYER OF PRAISE. OURS TODAY IS A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING...FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE LOVE. FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE SACRIFICE...WE REMEMBER LORD, AND WILL NEVER, NEVER FORGET ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US. WE REMEMBER LORD JESUS, HOW MUCH YOU LOVE US...ALL OF US, EVEN WHEN WE ARE NOT AT OUR BEST...EVEN WHEN WE ARE WEAK IN THE FLESH.

I read my Bible, but I don't understand it all.

I pray all the time...but...

My household is in total choas...

My life is worse...

I'm still not able to get past this certain point.

That thing still stands in my way...

I just cant seem to get it write with these kids.

I'm not getting what I need.

Before the Veil

Knowledge. For it, Mankind was cursed to die. Not physically, not right away, but die to the ability, the possibility, of ever being able to connect directly with God. Being dirtied, he was no longer worthy to be in the Presence of God, as he had chosen a new Master. And with that loss was forfeited the memory of how to return. The Very Knowledge craved was the downfall itself, for with Knowledge comes responsibility for it's use, and that was supposed to remain the Domain of the Holy One.

Now, to find again what we, as Creatures made in His likeness, should have been...to be able to use the innate gifts that we as His Creations were given and intended to expand and employ, we must seek Him, even though He hides His face from our imperfections.

How so to return? To have again the Peace, banish the Fear, step out of the Darkness and into the Light of Awareness and Awaken to the Power He in his Grace has yet seen fit to make available to those who honestly are looking, one must learn what it is necessary...

That's where we come in.

I was raised a Baptist, and have been a practicing C.O.G.I.C. member for more than seven years now, and in between that time I have explored the tenets and Doctrines of several faiths. Not because I was being tossed to and fro in uncertainty, but because I've been researching how each of the most prominent Faith Systems teach...then act, often a study in glaring difficulties. I have also been busy in Scripture study, with each of these and several others, measuring the Word of our Father and the directions of our Lord against the claims of comparisons we find our Churches embroiled in. My Mission has no requirement for Sanction by the man-made Church, for I seek only the truth with others who are seeking Him.

It is only that I have some very peculiar, and ultimately unpopular, questions, and I intend to have the answers from God Himself through His irrefutable Word.

What I am not is Ordained under any system, and make no claims of Licensing in Ministry. What I Am is determined that the in-fighting should stop, and to this end I open my Heart and share with you my views and research findings, as well as extend you an invitation to join me as I attempt to shed a bit more Light on the Path of this Journey; the Mission we have been entrusted with.

Compassion for they in need or in suffering, exhibiting for others that God does exist and is a God of Love by Loving each of the other Souls sharing in his Creation, so that they will turn back to him too, and we can achieve the re-connection He desires as much as we should.

Feel free to contact me, I'll try to answer as many of your contacts as possible. The more of us who commit to carrying out Christ's Mission, the more of the GOOD NEWS we can spread.
